PNP COMMUNITY RELATIONS, MAS PINALAKAS SA ‘BARANGAYANIHAN’

Mas pinalakas pa ang partnership at police assistance ng PNP sa mga barangay sa paglulunsad ng BARANGAYanihan (Bayanihan sa Barangay) nitong Mayo 14 sa Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, QC at PROs sa buong bansa.

Sakop ng proyekto ang lahat ng umiiral na police community relations activities ng PNP gaya ng Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko; Community Feeding Program; Adopt-a-Family Program; PNP Food Bank, atbp. na ipinatutupad sa iba’t ibang police regional at provincial offices maging sa mga police station.

Dadagdagan pa ito ng PNP sa  pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang relief operations, feeding programs, civic activities, etc.

Bukod sa mas pinaigting na community affairs at development component ng pagpupulis, layon din ng programang makuha pa ang tiwala at suporta ng mga nasa barangay.

“Inaasahan ko na ang lahat ng kapulisan ay makikiisa at isasapuso ang proyektong BARANGAYanihan dahil ito ang tunay na kahulugan ng PNP motto na ‘To Serve and Protect’, at ito ang tunay na diwa ng salitang Pilipino,” pahayag ni PNP Chief Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar.

Balita Central is under the supervision of the Bureau of Communications Services (BCS), one of the attached agencies of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).

Launched on February 28, 2019 at the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 (LRT-2) Cubao Station, Quezon City, it also aims to raise awareness among local communities about the policies, programs, and accomplishments of the Presidency. 

Through this platform, Balita Central Digital aims to reach further the online community to deliver more accurate information and communication services in order to educate the citizenry regarding national issues which would enlighten them to be engaged and be empowered in contributing to building a better nation.
