LUNGSOD NG QUEZON – Sinabi ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGEN Camilo Pancratius Cascolan sa kanyang press briefing ngayong umaga, Oktubre 5, na magpapahiram ng manpower ang PNP sa Department of Education (DepEd) sa distribusyon ng learning modules para sa mga mag-aaral ng pampublikong paaralan.
Ito’y alinsunod sa Basic Learning Continuity Plan ng DepEd na tugon sa pandemyang COVID-19.
Sa mga paaralang magpapatupad ng blended learning, siniguro rin ng PNP ang presensya ng mga kapulisan sa campuses at school zones, partikular na sa university belt areas ng urban centers.
Ayon sa PNP Chief, hindi lahat ng 30 milyong estudyante ang magbabalik-aral ngayong SY 2020-2021 dahil sa health safety issues.
Nais ding iparating ni PGEN Cascolan ang kanyang pagbati sa 1.1 milyong Pilipinong guro ngayong World Teacher’s Day na sakto sa unang araw ng pagbubukas ng klase.
