Umaarangkada simula pa Marso 29 ang PNP “Libreng Sakay” kung saan nasa 13,378 stranded na ang naserbisyuhan nang magsimula ang ECQ sa NCR-Plus.

Dalawang buses, limang utility trucks, at dalawang coasters ang salitang nagsasagawa ng roundtrips sa pitong ruta mula EDSA-Crame papuntang Meycauayan at San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan sa Hilaga; Zapote at Bacoor, Cavite sa Timog; at sa Rodriguez, Antipolo City, at Taytay, Rizal sa Silangan.

Gumagamit din ang PNP-NCRPO ng 1,317 mobile assets na nakapagsakay na ng 11,558 pasahero mula Marso 29-Abril 4.

Bukod sa pagsunod sa 50% seating capacity ng DOTr, namimigay rin ang PNP ng face masks, bottled water, at information materials sa mga pasahero ng Libreng Sakay.

“This is the PNP’s way of reaching out to citizens by providing mobility and other extended service to authorized persons so that they could attend to their work with convenience even while the ECQ is in effect,” pahayag ni PNP Chief Police General Debold M. Sinas.
