Nasa 200 floating assets ng PNP Maritime Group at 4 na helicopters ng PNP Special Action Force ang on standby para siguruhin ang mabilis na transportasyon ng COVID-19 vaccines sa iba’t ibang probinsya at munisipalidad sa bansa.

“I also directed all commanders to prepare all the vehicles that could be used and to prepare deployment and security plan for our personnel who would assist in the transportation of vaccines and in securing vaccination sites,” pahayag ni PNP Chief PGEN Guillermo T. Eleazar.

Sinabi rin ng PNP Chief na simula pa lang ng rollout ng bakuna sa bansa, nagkaroon na ng simulation exercises at workshops ang kapulisan sa transportasyon at distribusyon ng COVID-19 jabs.

Isa ang PNP sa mga ahensyang inatasan ng DILG na siguruhin ang mabilisang delivery ng COVID-19 vaccines, alinsunod na rin sa direktiba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ligtas at tamang transportasyon ng mga naturang bakuna para walang masisira o masasayang.
