PNP VACCINATION PLAN ‘CADUCEUS’, ARANGKADA NA

Handa na ang sistema ng PNP para sa mass rollout ng COVID-19 vaccines na tinawag nitong PNP Vaccination Plan “Caduceus” sa susunod na mga linggo at buwan.

Ito’y bilang suporta sa Philippine National COVID-19 Deployment and Vaccination Plan ng pamahalaan kung saan miyembro ang PNP ng Task Group Vaccine Cold Chain and Logistics Management, Task Group Immunization Program, at Task Group Demand Generation and Communication.

Sa ilalim ng Vaccination Plan Caduceus, inatasan lahat ng PROs na magbigay seguridad sa transportasyon ng vaccines mula storage hubs papuntang vaccination centers.

“In our own assessment of the simulation exercise of the vaccine delivery  held yesterday at the NAIA, RITM, PGH and Lung Center, all systems are in place to ensure the unhampered transport of the vaccine shipment to the storage facilities and distribution hubs,” pahayag ni PNP Chief Police General Debold M. Sinas.

Iniutos din sa PROs na magtayo ng police assistance desks sa naturang centers.

Magpapadala rin ang PNP ng medical reserve force, bukod pa sa regular PNP medical and nurse corps, para tulungan ang DOH at LGU health workers sa pag-aadministera ng vaccines.

Pangungunahan ni PNP Deputy Chief for Operations Police Lieutenant General Cesar Hawthorne R. Binag ang buong operasyon ng Caduceus. Si PLT GEN Binag din ang commander ng National Task Force Covid Shield na implementing arm ng Inter-Agency Task Force in Managing Emerging Infectious Diseases.
