COVID-19 free na ang Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA). Iyan ang inihayag ni PNP Chief General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan matapos niyang bisitahin ang akademya para pasinayaan ang mga bagong proyekto at pasilidad na itinayo sa loob ng akademya.
Naging balita noong nakaraan na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ang 1,098 na kadete at 361 PNPA personnel pero agad itong naagapan ilang buwan lang ang nakakalipas.
Kahit COVID-free na sa PNPA, nagpapatupad pa rin ng virtual classes sa loob ng akademya kung saan mananatili lamang sa kanilang mga barracks ang mga kadete.
Gagamitin naman ng mga PNPA personnel ang visual classrooms na mayroong malaking monitor sa loob para sa online lecture.
Ito ang kanilang naging hakbang para maging ligtas ang mga kadete at ang mga personnel ngayong nananatili pa rin sa COVID-19 pandemic ang bansa.
