Nakuha mula sa mga suspek ang marked money na nagkakahalagang Ph0.00 mula sa isang negosyante sa Zamboanga City nitong Marso 22.
Huli sina PMaj Orlyn Leyte, OIC ng PS9 Zamboanga City, at apat na miyembro ng PS9 Station Drug Enforcement Unit na sina PSSg Hegenio Salvador, PSSg Asser Abdulkadim, PCpl Ismael Sasapan, at PCpl Juman Arabani sa entrapment operation ng MFU, IMEG, RIU9, RID, RSOG-PRO9, HPG9, Zamboanga CPS, at 55th SAC bandang 6:45 p.m. sa Brgy. Ayala, Zamboanga City.
Nag-ugat ang operasyon sa reklamo ng negosyanteng si Melanie Casabuena Saloria, 57, residente ng Zone 3B Brgy. Cawit, Zamboanga City, na kinikilan diumano ni Leyte bilang “areglo” sa pagkakasangkot ng negosyante sa ilegal na droga.
P2,000.00, 88 piraso ng PhP1,000.00 boodle money, isang Beretta 9mm pistol, at tatlong loaded magazines.
Sasampahan ng kasong paglabag sa RA 3019 Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act at RA 6713 Code of Conduct and Ethical Standard for Public Official and Employees ang mga naturang suspek.
Nasa kustodiya na ang mga ito ng City Director ng Zamboanga City Police Office at ilalagay sa automatic leave of absence habang nakadetina.
