Kinumpirma kahapon ni Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na prayoridad para sa darating na COVID-19 vaccine ang health workers, uniformed personnel, gayundin ang mga mahihirap.
Mayroon na umanong listahan ang gobyerno ng mga prayoridad na makakakuha ng bakuna, sapagkat maaaring hindi sapat ang suplay nito upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng lahat.

Samantala, nilinaw din ni Vaccine Czar Carlito Galvez, Jr. na kasama sa prayoridad sa bakuna ang mga kabilang sa lugar na naging epicenter ng pandemya tulad ng Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Central Luzon, Cebu, Davao City, at Cagayan de Oro.
Dagdag pa niya, plano ng gobyerno na makakuha ng 50 milyong doses para sa 20 milyong katao na kabilang sa listahan.
“We have been doing so many things to prepare for this. More or less, it will take six months to prepare. The best case scenario is to have the vaccines available in the country by May to July next year,” pahayag ni Galvez.
