Sinibak na sa pwesto ang isa sa mga parak na nagpaehersisyo sa walong quarantine violators sa Cavite na naging sanhi diumano ng pagkamatay ng isang Darren Peñaredondo.

Ito’y kasunod ng paglabas ng affidavit ng dalawa sa quarantine violators na nagsasabing ginawa nila ang knee bender na isang uri ng physical exercise dahil na rin sa utos ng mga pulis.

Nauna nang itinanggi ng nasabing nasibak na pulis na ipinagawa niya ang naturang exercise.

Sa inilabas na pahayag ng PNP, “This is to assure that the PNP does not tolerate any act that is inimical to the best interest of our people, particularly the aggrieved parties in the Peñaredondo case.”

Sa kabila nito, nais pa ring ipagdiinan ng PNP na hindi masama ang physical exercise kung hindi naman sobra lalo na sa taong may medical history.
