Dalawang motorcycle-riding suspects ang tiklo sa engkwentro sa mga awtoridad ngayong araw, Nobyembre 18, sa Purok 3 Brgy. Balayhangin Calauan, Laguna ng 3:15 a.m.
Nagsagawa ng hot pursuit operations ang pinagsanib na pwersa ng Regional Highway Patrol Unit 4A, Calauan Municipal Police Station, at 1st Laguna Provincial Mobile Force Company, matapos matanggap ng Philippine National Police (PNP) Command Center mula Highway Patrol Group ang ulat ukol sa dalawang armadong suspek na tumakas dala ang kulay asul na Russi motorcycle (registration number 041-524647) at cellphone ng biktimang si Crisanto Delos Santos ng Brgy. Bitin Bay, Laguna. Nangyari ang insidente noong Nobyembre 17 bandang 7:30 p.m. sa National Rd. ng Brgy. Lamot 2 Calauan, Laguna.
Sa pahayag ng PNP, unang nagpaputok ang mga suspek na nagresulta sa pagkakatama sa kanila. Sugatan din si Police Staff Sergeant Diosdado Casupang, Jr. na miyembro ng arresting team.
Dead on arrival ang dalawang suspek sa Panlalawigang Pagamutan ng Laguna na hindi nakuhanan ng pagkakakilanlan. Stable naman na ang kondisyon ng nabaril na pulis.
Nakuha mula sa mga suspek ang cal.45 pistol, cal.38 revolver, ang nakulimbat na motorsiklo, pati isa pa na walang plaka.
