Kasamang napatay ang isang rookie cop at iniwan namang sugatan ang dalawa pa sa isang palitan ng putukan sa Sitio Maracabak Guiling Alamada, Cotabato nitong Abril 21 bandang 1:00 p.m.

Aarestuhin sana ang drug suspect na si Pilong Selangan ng grupo nina Patrolman Immanuel David Valez, Patrolman Mario Rapusa, at PSSG James Byron Lagarto dahil sa paglabag sa RA 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) nang makipagbarilan ito sa mga pulis.

Nagresulta ang barilan sa pagkatigok ng suspek at pagkakapatay rin kay Patrolman Valez dahil sa multiple gunshot wounds. Iniwan naman nitong sugatan sina Patrolman Rapusa at PSSG Lagarto.

Nakuha sa suspek ang isang M16 rifle at dalawang habang magazines.

Sinabi ni PRO 12 RD PBGEN Michael John Dubria na bibigyan ng karampatang tulong ang naiwang pamilya ng pumanaw na pulis maging ng mga sugatang personnel.
