Naniniwala si Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na malaki ang posibilidad na manalo ang mga pambato ng administrasyon sa darating na eleksyon dahil sa maayos na pagresponde ng gobyerno sa kasalukuyang pandemya.

Pinuri ni Sec. Roque ang pandemic response ng pamahalaan at aniya, “Hindi ko naman sinasabi pong mananalo ang mga kandidato ng administrasyon dahil sa pandemya kundi mananalo po sila dahil sa kasagutan natin sa pandemya.”

Dagdag pa ng Tagapagsalita, “Kasama na po riyan iyong pagmamanage ng mga kaso ng COVID-19 at ‘yung magiging successful na vaccine rollout. Sana po malinaw ‘yan.”

Sang-ayon din si Senator Sonny Angara kay Sec. Roque. Aniya, nakadepende sa pandemic response ng gobyerno ang magiging kapalaran ng mga pambato ng administrasyon.

Kailangan muna umanong gumanda ang sitwasyon sa bansa upang masiguro ang pagkapanalo ng mga ito.

“If the opposite happens, then we could get an opposite result,” ani Sen. Angara.

Maugong ang balitang muling tatakbo bilang pambato ng administrasyon sa Senado si Sec. Roque kasama sina Presidential Chief Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo at Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark.
