SENIOR CITIZENS, MENOR DE EDAD, PWEDE NA SA ON-SITE NAT’L ID REGISTRATION — IATF

“Ang mga menor de edad 15 to 17 kasama rin po ang mga seniors, ‘yong mga above 65, palalabasin lang po ng kanilang mga tahanan para po magrehistro sa Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).”

Ito ang inanunsyo ni Presidential at Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) Spokesperson Harry Roque nitong Biyernes, Mayo 7, 2021 hinggil sa desisyon ng IATF na luwagan ang age restrictions para mas marami pa ang makapagparehistro para sa national ID system.

Sa ikalawang bahagi ng pagpapatala para sa PhilSys ay kinakailangan ang personal na pagpapatibay ng mga dokumento, at pagkuha ng biometric information, tulad ng fingerprints, iris scans, at mga larawan sa registration centers ng Philippine Statistics Authority.

Bago ianunsyo ang naturang kautusan ay maaari lamang makalabas ang nabanggit na grupo kung sila ay kukuha o bibili ng kanilang mga importanteng pangangailangan o kung sila ay papasok ng trabaho.

Launched on February 28, 2019 at the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 (LRT-2) Cubao Station, Quezon City, it also aims to raise awareness among local communities about the policies, programs, and accomplishments of the Presidency. 

Through this platform, Balita Central Digital aims to reach further the online community to deliver more accurate information and communication services in order to educate the citizenry regarding national issues which would enlighten them to be engaged and be empowered in contributing to building a better nation.
