‘SMART CAMPUSES’, TARGET NG CHED SA POST-COVID-19 WORLD

Sa paglulunsad ng Data Analytics and Digital Transformation Training for Higher Education ng CHED nitong Abril 13, sa pakikiisa ng Mapúa University at Carnegie Mellon University-Australia (CMU-A), layon nitong makabuo ng smart campuses na makapagpapatuloy ng flexible learning sa post-COVID-19 era.

Bukod pa ito sa layong mapahusay ang enrollment, delivery ng education courses, faculty-student interactions, at faculty recruitment ng higher education institutions (HEIs) gamit ang data science at analytics.

Tatalakayin sa 10 araw na virtual training na pangungunahan ng technology experts ng CMUA at lalahukan ng 60 partisipante mula sa 45 HEIs sa bansa ang comprehensive business intelligence, data analytics, at technology management na may hands-on focus.

Inaasahan din na makabuo ang mga partisipante ng asynchronous data analytics modules gamit ang localized applications para sa training ng iba pang HEIs.

Isa ang inisyatibong ito ng CHED sa 11 programa ng ahensya na nagpopondo ng international certificate programs at short courses para sa faculty at staff ng HEIs sa bansa.

Ang training ay executive program din ng CMU-A na kilalang global leader sa data analytics na maaaring magamit na credit sa MA in Business Analytics ng Mapúa.

Through this platform, Balita Central Digital aims to reach further the online community to deliver more accurate information and communication services in order to educate the citizenry regarding national issues which would enlighten them to be engaged and be empowered in contributing to building a better nation.
