Patay ang top 10 drug personality ng Polomolok na pinaghihinalaang konektado sa isang local private armed group sa isang police shootout nitong Enero 21 sa South Cotabato.

Nakipagbarilan si Kaharudin Markay Santi, 35, sa mga pulis na maghahain sana ng search warrant bandang 5:25 a.m. sa  Purok 9 Brgy. Koronadal Proper Polomolok, South Cotabato na nagresulta sa pagkamatay nito.

Idineklarang dead on arrival si Santi na naitakbo pa sa Polomolok Municipal Hospital dahil sa tama ng baril.

Sa tala ng Philippine National Police, konektado diumano si Santi sa isang organized armed group na pinamumunuan ng isang “Tadoy Makatigel” na konektado naman sa Dawlah-Islamiya SOCCSKSARGEN KATIBA terrorist group.

Nakuha sa crime scene ang isang caliber .38 revolver na walang serial number pero may tatlong live ammunitions, isang fired cartridge case ng kaparehong caliber, isang rifle grenade, at 10 piraso ng heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet na may white crystalline substance na hinihinalang nasa isang gramo ng shabu.
