Arestado ang SOCCSKSARGEN 5th Most Wanted sa isang counter terrorism operation ng PNP nitong Abril 21 sa Poblacion Ampatuan, Maguindanao.

Huli si Norton Saptula, 23, sa bisa ng warrant of arrest na inisyu ni Acting Presiding Judge Lorenzo F. Balok, RTC 12 Br. 19 Isulan, Sultan Kudarat dahil sa three counts ng complex crime of murder with multiple frustrated murder.

Sa tala, miyembro diumano si Saptula ng BIFF Karialan Faction sa ilalim ni Chief Staff Sukarno Sapal alyas “Diok”.

Sangkot umano si Saptula sa pambobomba noong Agosto 28, 2018 sa Brgy. Kalawag 3 na nag-iwan ng 3 patay at 36 sugatang sibilyan at noong Setyembre 2, 2018 sa Brgy. Kalawag 2 na pumatay naman sa 2 at sumugat sa 14 pang sibilyan.

Sa huling ulat, nasa kamay na ng Isulan MPS ang suspek para sa disposisyon.

“The arrest of Saptula is a setback in the atrocities of BIFF operating in Maguindanao area and nearby provinces. Moreover, this successful operation would likely affect planned attacks of local and foreign terrorist organizations,” pahayag ni PNP Chief PGEN Debold M. Sinas.
