ATENEO, GINAWARAN NG PLAKE NG AFP PARA SA TRAINING NG MILITARY MIDDLE MANAGERS, JUNIOR OFFICERS

Kinilala ng AFP ang naging suporta ng Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) sa pagsasanay at edukasyon ng military officers ng ahensya nitong Mayo 19 sa Camp Aguinaldo, QC.

Ginawaran ng plake ng pagkilala ang ASoG dahil sa tulong nito sa Competency and Training Needs Analysis (CTNA) na nagsimula pa noong 2019.

Nagresulta sa isang competency framework ang research na nagpapakita ng kinakailangang proficiency levels sa middle managers na may ranggong Major hanggang Colonel.

Kasama sa framework ang extrinsic competencies gaya ng stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, planning, systems thinking, solutions focused, people management, self-mastery, at communication. Pagdating naman sa intrinsic competencies, nandiyan ang people management, self-mastery, at communication.

Sinundan ang pag-aaral ng isa pang CTNA nitong 2020 para naman sa junior officers o company grade officers ng AFP na may ranggong 2nd Lieutenant hanggang Captain. Nagtapos ang proyekto na extension ng middle managers’ competency framework nitong first quarter ngayong taon.

Sa kasalukuyan, nasa 80 AFP scholars ang enrolled sa post-graduate governance programs ng ASoG.

Tinanggap ni Ms. Ma. Christina M. Alikpala, Academic Head of ASoG, ang plake mula kay AFP Chief of Staff GEN Cirilito Sobejana.
