Sinabi ni PNP Chief PGEN Dionardo Carlos na hindi mapipigilan ang kapulisan sa pag-iimbestiga sa kahit na anong sumbong na may kinalaman sa illegal drug trade o drug use ang sinuman sa mga kakandidato sa eleksyon.

Ito’y sa kabila ng pagsailalim sa voluntary drug test at pagsasapubliko ng resulta ng ilan na sa mga kandidato.

“We will document the results, of course. It’s good that they are serving as good examples to the public,” pahayag ng PNP Chief.

Hindi sapilitan ang drug test sa mga kakandidato sa eleksyon, bagama’t suportado ng PNP ang naturang test.

Handa rin ang Forensic Group ng PNP na tumulong sa drug test sa sinumang kandidato sa eleksyon.
