Pinaghahanap na ngayon ang nakatakas na dalawang drug suspects matapos pagbabarilin ng kanilang ama ang dalawang pulis na magdadala sana sa magkapatid sa ospital para sa mandatory medical examination matapos maaresto sa isang buy-bust operation nitong Mayo 6 bandang 4:47 a.m. sa Dr. Evangelista St. Brgy. Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City.

Nakatakas ang magkapatid na sina Jonar Jul-Asri alyas “Naii” at Moner Jul-Asri matapos barilin ng kanilang ama na si Naser Jul-Asri, 55, na napag-alaman ding dating miyembro ng PNP, ang dalawang pulis na sina PCPL Nicolo Leon Luna III at PSSG Bobby Judan ng RDEU 9 sa harap ng Zamboanga City Medical Center.

Nakapagpaputok pa si PSSG Judan ngunit nakatakbo na ang gunman kasama ang dalawang anak nito sa Veterans Ave., kung saan tumakas sila gamit ang isang puting van.

Nakapagtamo ng gunshot wound si PCPL Luna sa likod ng kaliwa niyang tainga samantalang tinamaan naman ng bala si PSSG Judan sa lalamunan. Nasa Zamboanga City Medical Center ang dalawang pulis para sa medical treatment.

Isang citywide manhunt ang inilunsad para sa mga nakatakas na suspek.

“These drug syndicates will really fight to evade arrest and continue with their illegal activities. But we will hunt them down and make them pay for their crimes,” pahayag ni PNP Chief PGEN Debold Sinas.
