Isang malaking drug distribution network na nagsusuplay ng iligal na droga mula Maynila papuntang Mindanao ang binasag ng mga operatiba ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) sa pagkakaaresto ng dalawang diumano’y “key players” nito noong Sabado 7:00 p.m. sa isang buy-bust sa SM City Bicutan, Paranaque.
Huli sina Marlon Bayan, 32, ng P-6 Bry. Man-Ogob, San Vicente, Camarines Norte; at Guimalodin Ebrahim, 27, ng Talitay, Maguindanao. Nakuha sa dalawang suspek ang walong kilo ng high-grade shabu na nasa PhP54.4-milyon.
Kilala diumano ang mga suspek na regular carriers ng shabu mula Maynila hanggang Mindanao. Parte rin sila diumano ng mas malaking grupo ng drug traffickers na kadalasan ay mga taga-Mindanao na nakabase sa Southern Metro Manila.
Isa lang ito sa matagumpay na buy-bust ng Case Operation Plan Blood Stone ng PDEG na may layong tuldukan ang major drug distribution network.
