Nagtala ang lungsod ng Maynila ng pinakamataas na naarestong curfew violators sa unang araw ng implementasyon ng uniform curfew hours sa NCR, ayon sa ulat ng PNP ASCOTF nitong Marso 16.
Nasa 926 curfew violators ang naaresto mula sa lungsod. Nakapagtala ang NCRPO ng 1,236 curfew violators na naaresto sa unang araw ng operasyon.
Nasa 1,588 violators naman ang nabigyan ng multa na maaari ring gumawa na lang ng community service kung hindi makakapagbayad.
Samantala, 547 curfew violators ang nabigyang-babala.
Ayon sa NCRPO, “generally successful” ang naging implementasyon ng uniform curfew hours sa tulong na rin ng LGUs.
