Nakumpleto na ng lokal na pamahalaan ng lungsod ng Maynila ang distribusyon ng ayuda mula sa pamahalaan para sa mga apektado ng ECQ noong Marso 29 hanggang Abril 11. 

“Masaya kami. Maraming salamat kay Pangulong (Rodrigo) Duterte, maraming salamat, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of National Defense. Kumpleto na po, 100 percent na po na-implement iyong gusto ninyong ipagawa sa amin,” saad ni Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso sa kanyang Facebook live update kagabi, Marso 11.

Ayon kay Domagoso, natapos ng lokal na pamahalaan ang pamamahagi ng Php1.2 bilyong ayuda sa 380,820 pamilyang benepisyaryo sa loob ng 35 na araw. 

Bukod dito, nakatanggap din ang 6,421 persons with disabilities (PWDs) at 4,241 solo parents ng pinansyal na tulong mula sa pamahalaan. 

Nasa 20,335 na indibidwal mula sa mga grupong nangangailangan tulad ng informal workers, transport groups, at persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) ang nakatanggap ng ayuda. 

Pinasalamatan din ni Domagoso ang mga kasamahan na nanguna sa distribusyon ng ayuda sa iba’t ibang lugar sa lungsod. 

“I’m proud of my co-workers here in City Hall. Todas na. Nadali na natin, hanggang kahuli-hulihang sentimo,” saad niya.
