Nakaalerto na ang Philippine National Police (PNP) Operational Units sa Metro Manila para sa manhunt ng 13 takas mula Caloocan City Hall Custodial Facility noong madaling araw ng Oktubre 22.
Naka-isolate pansamantala ang 13 habang hinihintay ang confirmatory RT-PCR tests matapos magpositibo sa rapid tests nang pumuga.
Sa 15 tumakas ay dalawa na ang naaresto muli ng mga pulis. Ang 13 puga ay kumakaharap sa iba’t ibang kasong kriminal tulad ng iligal na droga at firearms.
“PNP line units have been reminded to initiate rigid security measures in lock-up cells and temporary detention facilities of police stations. Police Regional Offices were also instructed to conduct periodic security survey of all PNP detention facilities in their areas of responsibility,” pahayag ni PNP Spokesperson PCOL Ysmael Yu.
