MGA CHECKPOINT SA BORDER NG NCR PLUS, MANANATILI PA RIN SA ILALIM NG GCQ

Sinabi ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ngayong araw, Mayo 14, na mananatili ang quarantine control points sa mga border ng NCR Plus kahit nasa ilalim na ito ng GCQ. 

Sa isang pahayag, inutusan ni PNP Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar ang mga kapulisan na nagbabantay sa mga checkpoint na arestuhin at kasuhan ang mga mahuhuling nagbibiyahe ng mga pasahero papasok at palabas ng NCR Plus gamit ang mga van at cargo vehicles.

“The PNP will strictly implement the guidelines issued by the national government regarding the latest quarantine status. Ang NCR Plus nga po ay nasa GCQ (general community quarantine) with heightened restrictions, meaning hindi pa rin po papayagan ang non-essential o unnecessary travel papasok at palabas ng NCR Plus,” saad niya. 

Ito ay matapos maaresto ang ilang indibidwal noong Marso at Abril dahil sa paglabag sa mga protocol para sa essential travel. 

Umapela rin si Eleazar sa mga muling nagbukas na establisyimento na sumunod sa health protocols. 

Ayon sa kanya, maaaring maipasara ang mga ito kapag napatunayang lumabag sa mga panuntunang ipinapatupad ng IATF-EID.
