Inaalam na ngayon ng PNP kung posibleng ginahasa ang isang 10 taong gulang na batang babae na natagpuang inaagnas sa loob ng isang kweba sa Talisay City, Cebu nitong Enero 9.
Itinangkang itago ang bangkay ng biktima gamit ang pinagpatung-patong na mga bato.
Nagpaalam lang diumano ang biktimang maliligo sa ilog ngunit hindi na bumalik.
Nakatanggap ng tawag ang Talisay City PS mula sa isang concerned citizen na nagturo sa kinaroroonan ng katawan ng biktima.
Natagpuan diumano ang bangkay dahil sa sumisingaw na amoy sa loob ng kweba.
Hinala ng mga kaanak nito, ginahasa ang biktima ng isang grupong nakita diumano sa may ilog sa mga huling oras nito.
Nangako naman ang PNP ng hustisya para sa menor de edad.
“A complete forensic investigation is underway to assist Talisay City Police in the investigation, including post mortem investigation to determine if indeed the victim was sexually abused,” pahayag ni PNP Chief, PGEN Dionardo Carlos.
