Nabanggit ng Palasyo ngayong araw, Hunyo 10, ang posibilidad na maisailalim ang NCR Plus sa ordinaryong GCQ sa Hulyo.
“Based on the figures, Metro Manila Plus might be looking at the de-escalation. It might not be to MGCQ but it could be to ordinary GCQ because ang GCQ po natin ngayon ay mayroon pang mga restriction,” saad ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
Ang NCR Plus ay kasalukuyang nasa ilalim ng GCQ ‘with restrictions’ hanggang Hunyo 30. Ito ay binubuo ng Metro Manila at apat na karatig na probinsya kabilang ang Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, at Rizal.
Ayon kay Roque, tanging 53 percent ng mga intensive care unit (ICU) beds, 39 percent ng isolation beds, at 37 percent ng ward beds ang nagamit sa NCR base sa datos noong Hunyo 9.
Dagdag pa ni Roque, ang quarantine status para sa mga lugar sa labas ng NCR Plus ay nakadepende sa datos.
“We are always data-driven po. So, I do not want to speculate dahil hindi ko po nakikita ‘yung datos doon sa ibang mga areas,” saad niya.
