Arestado ang isang police patrolman sa isang joint buy-bust operation ng PNP-IMEG at PDEA sa Brgy. Del Carmen, Iligan City nitong gabi ng Mayo 29.

Nalambat si Patrolman Saidamin Bonsalagan Bagul alyas “Borge” na nakadestino sa 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company ng Lanao del Norte PPO sa nasabing operasyon.

Nakuha sa pulis ang apat na pirasong heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets ng hinihinalang nasa 20 gramo ng shabu; buy-bust money; isang cellphone; isang rifle na may limang loaded magazines; isang pistol na may isang loaded magazine; at isang Hyundai Accent.

Haharap sa kasong paglabag ng Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 ang suspek na pulis.

“Ito ang dahilan kaya natin ipinatutupad ang nameless, faceless recruitment selection at pagpapaigting ng Intensified Cleanliness Policy. This is our warning to all police personnel involved in illegal activities, hindi katanggap-tanggap sa PNP ang ganyang uri ng kalakaran ninyo, kaya sisiguraduhin kong sa kulungan ang bagsak ninyo,” babala ni PNP Chief PGEN Guillermo T. Eleazar.
