LUNGSOD NG QUEZON — Sasagutin ng bagong Philippine National Police Fitness Interval Time (PNP-FIT) health program ang masamang epekto ng COVID-19 quarantine lalo na sa pisikal na pangangatawan ng mga pulis.
Araw-araw na isang minutong modified physical exercises ng 10:00 a.m. at 3:00 p.m. at apat na minuto tuwing Martes at Huwebes naman ng 3:30 p.m. ang isasagawa ng mga opisina o unit ng PNP sa kani-kanilang area sa ilalim ng naturang programa.
Ang ehersisyo ay kombinasyon ng basic movements at stretches na inaasahang magpapabuti sa heart rate, metabolism, blood circulation, muscle strength, endurance, at balance at flexibility ng mga kapulisan.
“This new health program is geared towards the promotion of normalization of physical activities of PNP personnel without compromising the health protocols being prescribed by the Inter-Agency Task Force under the new normal,” pahayag ni PNP Chief PGEN Camilo Pancratius Cascolan.
