POINT-TO-POINT NA PAGBIYAHE MULA NCR PLUS PAPUNTA SA MGA POOK-PASYALAN, APRUBADO NA NG IATF

Pinahintulutan na ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases nitong Biyernes, Mayo 7, 2021, ang point-to-point air travel para makapamasyal ang mga magmumula sa NCR Plus, na kinabibilangan ng Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, at Cavite.

Ang desisyon na ito ng IATF ay ginawa upang tulungang muling makabangon ang industriya ng turismo sa bansa na lubhang naparalisa bunsod ng Coronavirus disease 2019 o COVID-19 pandemic.

“The point-to-point air travel is a temporary means to gradually revive the tourism industry, provide relief to tourism enterprises and generate livelihood to some of the displaced workers in the tourism sector,” pahayag ni Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.

Tanging chartered flights lamang na direktang maghahatid ng mga turista mula paliparan sa NCR Plus hanggang sa hotel o resort at pabalik, kabilang na ang maiksi at direktang private transfers, ang siyang papayagan ng Kagawaran.

Hindi naman kasama sa mga pahihintulutang bumiyahe ang mga buntis at iyong mga naka-quarantine.

Ipinagbabawal pa rin ang pagbiyahe mula NCR plus patungo sa mga pook-pasyalan sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng mga sasakyang panlupa o pandagat, o pagbiyahe lulan ng non-chartered flights.

Samantala, ang mga hotel at resort lamang na nasa general community quarantine (GCQ) o modified GCQ na sinertipikahan ng Department of Tourism na maaaring magbukas para sa point-to-point travel, ang siyang papayagang tumanggap ng mga bisita.
