LUNGSOD NG QUEZON — Makakakuha na ng police clearance kahit sa SM malls, matapos pirmahan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) kasama ang SM Prime Holdings ang isang memorandum of agreement ngayong araw, Oktubre 14, na magtatayo ng national police clearance hubs sa iba’t ibang branches ng higanteng mall.
Si PNP Chief PGEN Camilo Pancratius Cascolan ang pumirma sa panig ng PNP, samantalang si SM Prime Holdings President Jeffrey Lim naman ang sa SM malls. Ginanap ang ceremonial signing sa Government Services Express 2F North Parking Building SM Mall of Asia (MOA), Pasay.
Sa loob lamang ng isang buwan ay nakumpleto ng PNP Center for Police Strategy Management ang mga kinailangang dokumento kasama ang SM Supermalls Management para sa relokasyon ng national police clearance desks.
Naging instrumento ang partnership upang makamit ng PNP ang layon nitong gawing mas accessible pa sa publiko ang frontline services ng kapulisan, habang pinapaluwag ang mga kampo.
Bukod sa SM MOA, tinitingnan din ng PNP at SM management na magtayo ng pilot branches sa SM Southmall, SM North EDSA, SM Bacoor, SM Pampanga, SM Cabanatuan, SM Cebu, at SM Cagayan de Oro.
