Huli ang isang pulis at apat pang miyembro ng Truck Ban Traffic Management Office dahil sa robbery-extortion sa isang entrapment operation itong Hunyo 4 sa intersection ng Quezon Rd. McArthur Hwy. at San Simon Exit sa Apalit, Pampanga.

Arestado sina PCPL Leomar Calegan, 37, may asawa at residente ng Brgy. Maimpis, San Fernando City; Marlon De Guzman, 39, may asawa at residente ng Danga, Colgante; Menard Mendoza, 32, residente ng Sta. Lucia Matua, Masantol; Michael Maniulit, 50, residente ng Muzon, Colgante; at Noel Manarang, 23, walang asawa at residente ng San Vicente, Apalit habang tinatanggap ang pera mula sa isang operatiba ng IMEG na nagpanggap na porter habang dumadaan sa area sakay ng isang trak.

Nakumpiska rin sa mga suspek ang nasa PhP804,170.00 halaga ng pera na pinaniniwalaang koleksyon mula sa mga drayber ng trak na dumadaan sa lugar.

Dinala na ang mga suspek sa IMEG-LFU at kakasuhan ng paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, at Robbery-Extortion.
