Arestado sa pangalawang pagkakataon ang isang pulis na drayber din ng ambulansya ng PNP General Hospital nitong  Mayo 31 bandang 3:00 p.m. sa isang entrapment operation matapos kikilan ng PhP100,000.00 ang isang aplikante ng PNP kapalit ng pagpasa nito sa recruitment process.

Huli si PSSG Joel Zalun Bunagan, 37, residente ng North Fairview, QC matapos tanggapin ang marked money sa Waling-Waling St. Sampaguita Subd. Brgy. 175 Camarin, Caloocan.

Lumabas sa ulat na unang beses nang naaresto si PSSG Bunagan sa isa ring entrapment noong Abril 8, 2020 sa Brgy. Kaligayahan Novaliches, QC matapos naman mangikil ng nasa PhP100,000.00-PhP150,000.00 sa PNP applicants na may health issues.

Kapalit diumano ng pera ang pagpasa ng mga naturang aplikante sa medical exams.

Nakapagpiyansa lang diumano ang suspek mula sa kaso nito noong nakaraang taon.

Iniutos na ni PNP Chief PGEN Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar ang summary dismissal proceedings laban sa parak at posibleng mga kasabwat nito.

“Inaalam natin kung paano nanatili pa sa serbisyo ang ungas na pulis na ito. Tutukuyin natin kung sino ang mga kasabwat ng Bunagan na iyan at kanyang mga nilapitan para ‘di masibak sa pwesto. Dapat magsama-sama sila sa kulungan,” mariing pahayag ng PNP Chief.

Nasa kustodiya na ng IMEG si PSSG Bunagan para humarap sa mga kasong kriminal, kabilang na ang paglabag sa RA 11032 o Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Act of 2018.
