Nakapagbigay na ng unang dose ng COVID-19 ang lungsod ng Maynila sa 105,212 indibidwal ayon sa tala noong Miyerkules, Abril 5. 

Sa kabuuang bilang na ito, 25,161 sa mga nabakunahan ay medical frontliners mula sa mga pribado at pampublikong ospital na kasama sa A1 category ng priority list. 

Nakapagbigay na rin ito ng pangalawang dose sa 39,928 na indibidwal kung saan ang 4,252 dito ay medical frontliners at 32,676 ay mga residente. 

Noong Miyerkules lamang ay nakapagbigay ang lungsod ng 242 unang dose. Ang 219 dito ay mula sa A1 category, 11 mula sa A2, at 12 mula sa A3 category. 

Para sa pangalawang dose, 7,302 ang nabakunahan kabilang na ang 754 medical frontliners, siyam na senior citizens, at 6,539 na taong may karamdaman at kapansanan. 

“Hinihikayat ko rin po ang lahat ng mga interesado magpabakuna na mag pre-register sa www.manilacovid19vaccine.ph para sa mas mabilis at episyenteng vaccination process,” saad ni Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso sa kanyang Facebook post. 

Dagdag pa ni Domagoso, hindi titigil ang lokal na pamahalaan sa paghahanap ng paraan upang pigilin ang pagkalat ng virus ngunit dapat ding sumunod ang mga residente sa health at safety protocols.
